Before working in the UAE, two documents are required. These are a residence permit and a work VISA. The residence permit lasts three years and is only given once you have secured a job. The employer is permitted to sponsor you for a work VISA. However, it is dependent on passing a medical test for HIV and hepatitis and also obtaining a health card.
